Remembrance...

I am sure there will be a gazillion postings on 9/11 today and they will come from every side so I will be brief.

I will remember for the rest of my days:

the horrible acts of hatred perpetrated upon the peoples of this country that fateful day 7 years gone.

I will remember where I was.

I will remember that on 9/11 I finally saw for myself that Evil is alive and well and that it does exist and will always exist.

I will remember my helplessness.

I will remember that this was not an act of God but of evil men.

I will remember the victims and their families.

I will remember the 1st responders and their families.

I will remember and honor the peoples of N.Y. City.

I will remember the heroes.

I will remember a day without partisan politics.

I will remember that for a brief time we were United.

I will remember the men and women who answered the call to arms.
