Butterflies

As random as it seems, I am writing about butterflies today. There has been an incredible amount of butterflies in the Denver Metro area. In 35 years I do not remember seeing so many, large, and vibrant butterflies. I have not yet identified these beautiful creatures of God but the are a wonderful yellow color.

I guess I am so intrigued because I have 2 very inquisitive minds here at home. They have reminded me of what it is to be young and in awe by everything. I have stopped to take notice of things that had become mundane to me and I have been blessed as a result of opening my eyes. Thank you boys.

Now I could sit here and try and tie this into some story of wisdom (from a drummer, how funny) or some lesson on life. But rather than do such a cliche' thing, I ask that you give me one wish. I wish and hope that you will take the time to enjoy God's creation today, tomorrow and for every day you are given another breath.
